On thursday the long awaited phone call came in: the car is officially ready! The new APK is delivered, so it's technically 100% OK. The
ignition problem was solved too: a loose contact IN the ignition which also caused the battery to run empty all the time....
It's a kind of last "working" saturday: there is not too much to do anymore. Apart from the wheels, which have to be sprayed again all
is ready. I put on some stickers, and more important: clean out the cupboard. After lunch I go home, but leave the car. We agreed to leave it in the showroom over winter: it makes a fine example.
Wrong decision: though it's raining when I leave the rest of the weekend and the following week are absolutely fantastic driving weather....
