This site follows the complete rebuild of my Triumph STAG in a kind of diary form. The project started on August 22, 1998 after a holiday with all kinds of mechanical trouble: brakes, fuel pump, vacuum hoses and torque converter all broke down. Nice driving though...  For an overview of the cars complete history see the "car description page".

The project ended officialy on Thursday, October 21 when the car got a new MOT  ("APK") and was in that way officially declared ready for driving again. Unfortunateley the season was almost over, so 2000 will be the real start of a new driving season.

The project is carried out in Bert Miskerīs garage, located in Nieuw Amsterdam near Emmen. Apart from the presence of a lot of special tools, work-room and technical advice (heīs been working on classic cars for over 20 years and owns several beauties including a Stag) its fun to work there. So every Saturday you can find me over here. Some exceptional other clients: look here

If you are only interested in the "highlights" look at the "overview" pages, with short descriptions of the activities and a "picture of the day". The overviews are grouped in clusters of 10 days to keep the navigation easy. Look at the overviews of day 1-10, day 11-20, day 21-30, day 31-40 and the last news on day 41-end. For every day there is a detail page with much more pictures!

I have not added more information lately though a lot can be told about the "after restoration" period. I promise to update the site some day......
